IN MY OPINION....By Ella DelCastillo
"In the little town of Ortonville there is a very special place; the name of it is Northridge nursing home. There should be more like it in our community today. The residents are very lucky because there is so much love and compassion here. Some of the staff have family members there also as residents and everyone is treated the same.
They have a wonderful activity department with all kinds of activity programs you can choose from. The staff and aides come to work very early and stay until evening. The work is very hard trying to make the residents comfortable. After work some of the nurses and aides are so tired after all the work they have to do. But they all have smile on their face and a hug for you if you look like you need one because in their heart, they some day, will be residents and will want a nursing home just like this one that really shows they care greatly about all of their residents!"
For more information, please stop by for a personal tour and/or visit with the residents and staff. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our staff on duty or visit with our Social Services staff. Northridge Residence (320) 839-6113.
